Auzriel aka The Northwest Princess is a fresh pop/R&B singer out of Portland, OR. The name Auzriel comes from the hebrew name Azrel given to her at birth which means "Allah is by my side". She is a songwriter as well as a singer with an undeniable passion for music and songwriting. Auzriel has a strong, sultry voice that is showcased not only through sound but through the words that she sings. With influences ranging from Mariah Carey to Bob Marley, Madonna, Lauryn Hill, and Gwen Stefani, Auzriel is unique, but at the same time, a highly commercial artist that has a new fun, sexy and addictive sound. Auzriel is a classically trained mezzo who can sing alto and soprano and can also play the piano. This alone sets her apart from 80% of the 'pop singers' today. Talented in not only music, Auzriel just graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Management from Baruch College New York City, which she plans to put to use by starting her own independent label. After being in two hip hop groups in the last five years Auzriel has developed a passion for performing live. She has had the opportunity to open for many acts including bay area rapper E-40.
